If you are seeking distinctive cultural experiences in Yamba, come and participate in this enjoyable and calming session led by Fiona Vesper, Aboriginal artist, from the Yaegl community.
This class comes with a pre-painted canvas and a stencilled image and is taught by Fiona Vesper.
I will guide you in how to use a stencil to get your basic outline and how to fill the shape.
I will provide instructions on using a stencil to create the basic outline and fill in the shape.
Because of time limitations related to the drying of paint, you will receive a prepped canvas, yet we will guide you through each step.
I will then show you how to use a range of tools to create different effects.
Next, I will demonstrate how to utilize various tools to achieve diverse effects.
You will be supplied with additional paint and a set of tools to finish your art at home.
Although you won't be making your own "Aboriginal art," you will have the chance to use provided symbols to create an artwork that reflects your story.
