Samba Floresta specializes in the Brazilian popular music diaspora, including Rio Samba, Pagode, Samba Reggae and other Bahian styles. The group features a batería of drummers, a melodic section and vocals that bring the spirit of Samba to the beaches and forests of Humboldt.
* Infectious Rhythms *
Samba da Alegria, Humboldt County's Brazilian-influenced community drum and dance organization, brings people of all musical and movement abilities together to learn about Brazilian music and culture, build connections, and celebrate through performance and community events.
* Dazzling Dance *
Samba do Mar Humboldt Dancers will be showcasing the joy and passion of Samba, Samba Reggae, and other Brazilian dance styles. They bring an undeniable sense of festivity and excitement to any event.
