Braver Angels: Skills for Civil Dialogue Across the Political Divide

Want to help bridge political division and build a more respectful, united community?

Braver Angels of Carroll County will hold our monthly Community Civil Conversations gathering on Sunday, August 24, from 2:00–3:30 p.m. at the Eureka Springs Community Center. Braver Angels is a local, nonpartisan, and nonreligious initiative focused on reducing political polarization and incivility by teaching skills for respectful, constructive conversation across political divide.

This month’s focus will be recognizing our own internal polarization and the impact it has on ourselves and those around us. Together, we’ll watch the Braver Angels workshop video "Depolarizing Within", participate in exercises helping to identify our own personal patterns of polarization, and share in open discussion and questions.

Our meetings are open to all regardless of political affiliation. We aim to foster respectful conversation and strengthen community connections. No registration required.
