On Saturday, Dec. 5, 2025 and Sunday, Dec. 6, 2025, the Community Center for the Performing Arts presents a 50th anniversary celebration of the historic WOW Hall with a two-day extravaganza: The WOW-a-Thon!
The iconic WOW Hall Celebrates 50 Years as a community center for performing arts with WOW-A-THON 2 - Friday & Saturday, December 5 & 6, 2025. This event is inspired by the original WOW-A-THON that helped a community of arts lovers buy the building in 1975, save it from demolition, and build it into a beloved resource for Eugene and all of Oregon. We invite everyone to join our hundreds of members and volunteers in celebrating one of the cultural
touchstones of the region. Fifty years of live music, dance, and community under one roof. WOW-A-THON 2 is a two-night fundraising celebration honoring the original 1975 WOW-A-THON that helped establish the W.O.W. Hall as our beloved Home.
We’re excited to welcome an incredible lineup of guest artists, including The Jungle Hens feat. Laura Kemp, Katie Henry, Martha Defreest of Babes with Axes, Baroque Betty, The Sugar Beets, Never Ever Band (Mithrandir), Peter Wilde, Wren and Juniper feat. Jans Ingber, Fermata Ballet Collective, and an all-star local hip-hop reunion featuring The Architex, Prim8s and surprise guests, along with guest speakers and many more voices
representing Eugene’s vibrant creativity across generations.
Beyond the live performance and some truly amazing raffle prizes WOW-A-THON 2 honors 50 years of fostering creativity and building community. We invite everyone to take part in Voices of the Hall, a special community storytelling hour, along with games and other interactive moments throughout the event.
It will be two nights filled with music, dance, and the shared joy that has kept this venue alive for five decades. Ticket buyers and raffle participants will help protect the future of the W.O.W. Hall at a time when arts organizations face real challenges. Come celebrate our history, revel in the present, and help carry this beloved space into its next 50 years.
