Join us for an evening of some awesome Jazz! First a performance by a very talented trio of Young Jazz Musicians, followed by an Open to all Jazz Jam Sesh! This is a free event & all ages are welcome! Performance starts at 6pm.

Luke Turner is a saxophonist, composer, instructor, and bandleader from Eugene, OR. He currently attends the University of Oregon's Jazz Studies program, and is a growing presence in the area's music scene. For several years, he's had a complete love for music, and brings a heavy influence from the jazz idiom. He strives to show his appreciation for those who have made the music what it is today, while also bringing his own conglomeration of sounds to the table. In March of 2025, he released his debut album Rainwalk, which features a number of his original compositions and arrangements. While being an active performer in the area, he also teaches private saxophone lessons.
Casey Bedney is a young emerging jazz artist, studying jazz studies at the University of Oregon. Born in Portland raised in Eugene, Casey started playing in middle school and since has grown a passion for jazz music. Music from other genres like R&B, indie, 90s hip hop, and fusion also inspire his playing, helping build a unique sound to present for others. Casey is entering his 3rd year for jazz studies, planning to pursue music as long as he can.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Antonio Soltero is a guitarist, composer, and arranger. Having taken violin lessons from a young age, at around age 10 Antonio switched to learning the guitar. Throughout his High School years he studied with Austin guitarist Glenn Rexach and is currently studying at the University of Oregon. Antonio has studied and performed a wide variety of styles ranging from jazz, indie rock, funk, bluegrass, salsa, and Mexican folkloric music. Antonio is currently pursuing a Master's in Jazz Composition/Arranging and works as a graduate employee at the University of Oregon.
Luke Hendrickson is a bassist and songwriter from Portland, Oregon. Luke began playing bass and writing rock songs as an eight year old, and was introduced to jazz and upright bass in middle school. Luke has spent the past years honing his craft and is quickly rising through the ranks of the Eugene jazz and house show scenes, performing with the likes of Joe Manis, Roger Woods, and Cosplay Jesus. Luke is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Jazz Studies at the University of Oregon under the instruction of Tyler Abbott and Paul Krueger.
