Ready to give your garden a natural boost? Join us for an awesome in-person workshop all about native plants and how they can transform your outdoor space. Learn tips, tricks, and the best plants to attract local wildlife and keep your garden thriving. Bring photos or drawings of your yard, and questions. We will have 5 people with expertise to help. Learn how to prepare your site, how to select native plants, basics of rain gardens, and DIY collecting native seeds. Space limited, register now!
Join owner of Doak Creek nursery Cynthia Lafferty, who will present on using native plants in your garden. Greg Oldson , landscape designer and rain garden expert, will be there to explain how to create rain gardens. Hannah English, assistant Nursery manager at Mount Pisgah nursery, will show you how to collect and clean seeds for your garden. Alan Butler, landscaper, will explain how to prep your site. Barbara Bryson, manager of Habitat Haven Backyard Certification program , will be there to help answer questions and show you how to enroll.
