Do you continue to struggle with numbness and intense emotions, even after years of therapy? Or even after training to be a counsellor? Discover resources that create freedom—physically, emotionally, and energetically.
This workshop invites you to practice awareness while using energetic tools to interrupt and transform old patterns. Together, we’ll focus on cultivating peace by regulating the nervous system and reconnecting with the body, so you can begin to access practices that help you fully step into your life. These are the very methods that supported my own recovery from life in a cult and its abuses, and I have refined them over more than 30 years of therapeutic and coaching practice.
For survivors, my focus is to help reduce flashbacks, nightmares, and fear, and to open the way to ease, presence, and the capacity to truly engage with life. For therapists, I aim to strengthen resilience by encouraging you to tend to your own healing first. At the heart of this work is learning to trust yourself and your inner world at every level.
Every person I’ve encountered holds the path to healing—they simply need the right resources, safety, and support. In this workshop, you’ll discover the transformative potential of energetic practices—powerful, often very practical methods that will support your recovery with increased ease and self-trust.
Note that this work is based on traditional healing practices from every culture. I honour the ancestors of this work and acknowledge my debt to them. I am open to speaking more about this.
What to Expect:
Teaching and Discussion
We’ll explore theory and context together, with handouts to support your practice. While not everyone will have the opportunity to work with me directly in this format, each participant will engage in practices and benefit from the demonstrations.
Note: Your registration is important as I do need your agreement in order to have you in the workshop.
1. Demonstrations
I’ll guide the group through shared practices, then work with one or two individuals on specific concerns. These demonstrations show how flexible and personal the methods can be. One powerful aspect of Embody Freedom practice is that you rarely need to share your story to see results. Healing often lasts beyond the workshop itself, and as someone works in the circle, everyone benefits—clearing their own field while learning and deepening their understanding.
2. Developing the Work
You’ll be guided through Embody Freedom techniques designed to address overwhelm and dissociation—common responses to stress and trauma. These practices have supported both me and many of my clients, and you can start applying them right away.
3. Feeling the Results
This training is about real transformation, not just knowledge. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have released something—whether tension, discomfort, or a sense of being stuck—leaving you lighter, more present, and more at ease. Participants experience this shift every time. It’s the beginning of deeper change, which you can continue to build as you return to future workshops or integrate these practices into your life.
