Free Food Preservation Workshop Series

Join the OSU Extension Master Food Preservers at the GrassRoots garden for our free food preservation workshop series. We will be doing a variety of preservation techniques, including salsa, quick pickles, pie fillings and more. Our topic each week will be chosen based on what is in season and ready to pick in the garden — some topic's are TBD.

Workshop schedule:
Week 1 – Sept 17: Salsa
Week 2 – Sept 24: Quick Pickles or Apple Pie Filling
Week 3 – Oct 1: Quick Pickles or Apple Pie Filling
Week 4 – Oct 8: TBD
Week 5 – Oct 15: TBD
Week 6 – Oct 22: TBD

Stick around until 1pm for a vegan lunch served by Chef Jamie Johnson of the GrassRoots Garden.

Registration is required, but you don’t need to attend all sessions. Sign up for as few or as many workshops as you like.
