This free event offers vegetable-, herb-, and flowers seeds as well as scion (fruit tree cuttings) from hundreds of varieties of apple, pear, plum, cherry, fig, grape, and more. Rootstock is available for purchase ($5) and grafters will be on hand to send you home with a baby fruit tree.
What started in someone’s garage as a neighborhood seed swap has grown and developed into a series of special events from Cottage Grove, Springfield, Eugene, Corvallis, and now Florence and Oakridge. It has developed into one of the country’s premier opportunities to share and distribute rare and important fruit tree varieties. In addition to vegetable seed donated from home collectors or organic local producers such as Adaptive Seed in Sweet Home, we have started our own Seed Increase Initiative to produce quantities of regionally adapted seed.
This is a 100% volunteer-driven event. If you would like to help out, please contact the Agrarian Sharing Network at
