Research shows the Blue Orchard Mason bee, aka “BOB” is a solitary super pollinator for early spring blooming cultivars, including fruit trees. Learn the unique time frame that supports setting up a successful cycle for these hard working native bees in your garden, orchard, and neighborhood.
About the Presenter: Shirley Betournay became a Master Gardener in 2012 after a 37-year teaching career. She serves on four Master Gardener committees, enjoys mentoring new trainees, and is a co-chair of Lane County Master Gardeners Adaptive Gardening Specialists.
