Grammy Award winning pianist Bill Charlap has performed with many of the leading artists of our time, from Wynton Marsalis and Gerry Mulligan to Phil Woods and Ron Carter and countless others. But more than that: Bill Charlap is simply exceptional in any context, with any colleague, from Sandy Stewart to Dee Dee Bridgewater and Tony Bennett, from Dick Hyman to Renee Rosnes, and just by himself with his trio, Bill Charlap is a wonder and a joy.
It’s been way too long since Bill has graced Jaqua Concert Hall. Absolutely excellent to have him back.
