First Saturday Bird Walk!
Our next first Saturday bird outing will be taking place on September 6th at 8:30 AM. These birding opportunities are intended to center women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ folks. We will be meeting at Golden Gardens here:

This tour will occur on mostly level, maintained paths. The walk is a one-mile loop. There is no reliable, potable water on site, so please bring plenty. There is no restroom on site. Parking is available for free on the street next to the park.
We plan to bird for at least two hours. The forecast is currently predicting heat, so please plan accordingly. Please check the forecast before the walk and bring appropriate gear to be comfortable (sun hat, sunscreen, bug spray, extra water, etc.). We will meet rain or shine.
We will have one extra pair of binoculars available, a scope to share with folks, and a couple of field guides.
