I am opening up this field trip to Greer Homeschool 4h since it relates to our topic this month.
ANY ADDITIONAL STUDENT OTHER THAN THE ONES LISTED BELOW MUST BE REGISTERED WITH OUR 4H GROUP TO ATTEND.
Field trips at Jeter Mountain Farm are self-guided. Upon arrival, our team will greet your group and give you a field trip packet and customized itinerary built just for you! Activities last from 10a-12p, leaving time for your group to eat lunch and enjoy the playground (or whatever your favorite part of the farm is!) for the rest of the afternoon. Your group will be responsible to get from one activity to the next, though JMF staff will lead certain activities.
SAMPLE SCHEDULE:
10:00 - Welcome to the Farm!
10:15 - Cider Press Demonstration
10:45 - Educational Walk down Orchard Way
11:15 - U-pick + Chat with a Farmer
11:45- Wagon Ride
12:00 - Lunch (packed lunches, or food purchased from food truck)
12:45 - 2:00 - Play in the Play Area/Free Time
COST:
*Field trip participants are $10
*Parents who want to accompany their students are $4 (the price of the wagon ride!)
*Siblings who do not plan to pick apples/fully participate in the field trip are also $4.
This field trip is Pre-paid by me so there will be no refunds. If you are unable to go, you will be responsible for finding someone to buy your spots.
MAX 25 Students or 30 people total.
