We’re back again for round two! Last year’s grand opening event for the Lawson Skatepark was a great success, and so we are back to make it an annual event for our local skate community!
Driftwood Tattoo Studio and Estes Valley Parks & Rec are proud to bring back our new annual event, featuring live funk/jam music by Crisco Disco, skate contests with cash prizes, sponsor giveaways, custom trophies, food truck, and good times!
Join us October 18th at 380 Community Drive in Estes Park, at the Lawson skatepark from 12am - 2:30pm! All ages welcome event, and schedule is as follows below:
12-12:20 - Scooter and Kids Freestyle Jam
12:30 - 1:00 - Junior Skate Competition ages 16 and under
1:15 - 1:45 - Senior Skate Competition ages 17 and up
2:00 - 2:15 - *Best Trick Final Showdown Tricks For Cash*
*PARENTS PLEASE NOTE* : We welcome kids of all ages to participate in the Open Jam from 12-12:20, as well as in between any of the scheduled contests. We PLEASE ask that you keep them clear of the course during the junior and senior competitions for the safety of everyone involved. Thanks!
Our friends from Crisco Disco will be coming up from Denver to play live funk and jam tunes for the whole event! We will have cash prizes, product giveaways, and some unique trophies for the winners, as well as a food truck and vendor/sponsor giveaways.
Event will also be sponsored by 303 Boards, Lithium Skateshop, and others tba. We look forward to another wonderful event for the Estes skateboard community!
