Join us for “Passing 101”, an educational panel focused on building safe, confident passing skills for dog-powered sports on shared trails.
🗓 Tuesday, February 17, 2026
⏰ 7:00 PM
📍 Ken Kunkle Community Center
An experienced distance musher, sprint musher, skijorer, and bikejorer will share how they train dogs to pass, communicate clearly between teams, and handle both overtaking and head-on passes in real trail situations. Panelists will also demonstrate passing techniques without dogs, followed by discussion and Q&A.
This panel is a follow-up to the Passing Practice Clinic, and a great opportunity to reflect on what you practiced and bring your questions—but attendance is welcome even if you didn’t attend the clinic.
Ideal for rookie and recreational teams, and excellent preparation for anyone planning to participate in multisport dog events this season. Let’s keep our trails safe, respectful, and fun for everyone.
