Best Dam Run – 10K

Moved to October to avoid the late summer risk of wildfires, this beloved annual event was brought back by popular demand, thanks to the local Estacada community members who pledged their increased support and involvement.
WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT THIS RACE?
• The course is so pretty! You'll run mostly through a trail that takes you through the forest, along waterways, with views of interesting geology and wildlife. You'll start on North Fork Lake and run along the Clackamas River. On semi-private land, it's a fun opportunity to run this as an official timed race (USATF certified).
• The course is net downhill.
• The course is a simple point-to-point 10K. Very straightforward, trail, then pay attention to a single highway crossing, then into town until the finish line.
• It's never too big. There are other BIGGER events, but this is the one you want if you want peaceful, scenic, and smaller scale.

The 10K is a speedy, net downhill point-to-point course, same as prior years. Finish at Broadway Street in downtown Estacada.
