🌿 Villiruokataiteilija Jyrki Tsutsunen tarjoaa maistiaisia metsästä ja myy upeita luonnonmakuja. 250 ensimmäistä pääsee maistamaan veloituksetta maitohorsmalimua sekä kuusenkäpytahnaa ja muurahaisia tarjoiltuna kuusenoksasta.
Villiruoka-pop-up -kojulta voit myös ostaa lähimetsästä poimituista raaka-aineista valmistettuja herkkuja.
🎶 Illallisen tunnelmaa mukana luomassa swing/jazz -musiikin ykkösnimenä tunnettu Django Collective Helsinki trio-kokoonpanolla. Tapiolassa kasvaneen ja varttuneen Aki Haurun johtama yhtye on vuodesta 2011 lähtien elävöittänyt kulttuurin kenttää juurevalla ja hyväntuulisella jazz manouche -musiikilla 1920-50 -luvuilta Django Reinhardtin ja Stéphane Grappellin tyyliin.
Orkesterin ydinryhmä koostuu monissa liemissä keitetyistä muusikoista ja on tullut tutuksi mm. erityisen lämminhenkisistä, avointa ja positiivista kaupunkikulttuuria luovista, jo ilmiöksi muodostuneista vakioklubeistaan.

🌻 Hävikkikukkakauppa Kukkiksen työpajassa pelastetaan luontoa yhdessä ja tehdään kukkateollisuuden ylijäämästä kukkakoristeita. Koristeita voi käyttää esim hiuksissa, ranteessa tai vaatteisiin kiinnitettynä ja vaikka kuivata kotiin koristeeksi. Työpaja soveltuu kaiken ikäisille, koko perheelle, ja on matalan kynnyksen mukavaa tekemistä! Työpaja on ilmainen.

Welcome to the Espoo Day Community Dinner!

For the celebration of Espoo Day, Sampotori will transform into a giant dinner table – a 150-person long table invites you to share a meal together!
Pick up delicious food from restaurants near Tapiontori or bring your own sncks and food. Participating restaurants will be announced soon.
🌿 Wild food artist Jyrki Tsutsunen offers forest-inspired delicacies and sells unique natural flavours. The first 250 guests can enjoy, free of charge, fireweed soda and spruce cone paste with ants – served on a spruce twig!
From the Wild Food Pop-up Stand, you can also purchase delicacies made from ingredients gathered in nearby forests.
🎶 Adding to the evening’s atmosphere is Django Collective Helsinki, performing in a trio formation. Led by Aki Hauru, who grew up in and around Tapiola, the group has been enriching the cultural scene since 2011 with their rootsy and cheerful jazz manouche music from the 1920s–50s, in the spirit of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.
The band’s core members are seasoned musicians known especially for their warm, welcoming club nights that have become a phenomenon – events that promote open, positive urban culture.

🌻At the Waste Flower Shop Kukkis workshop, we’ll save nature together by turning floral industry leftovers into beautiful flower accessories. The decorations can be worn in hair, on wrist, pinned to clothing – or just dried and kept as home decor.
The workshop is suitable for all ages and the whole family – a fun activity for everyone! Participation is free of charge.
