We are excited to share the details for BUILD A ROOM 2025! This year, Pastor Jarrid Younkin (Indiana, USA) and newly appointed UPCI Northern Europe Area Coordinator, John Hemus (U.K.), will be joining Bishop Mark and Pastor Glenda Alphin as session speakers.
WHAT IS BUILD A ROOM?
Simply put, it is a God-idea that was given to the Alphins some years ago. The concept comes from 2 Kings 4:8-10, and was born during a sermon preached by Rev. Jerry Jones about the woman of Shunem. This is not an event where we simply listen to people talk about prayer. Rather, it is an opportunity to receive anointed teaching from the Word of God; then, we actively engage in practicum - a time when we apply what we have learned - in prayer. If one chooses to submit to the intended process, life changes will occur!
WHAT HAPPENS DURING BUILD A ROOM?
Divinely inspired Apostolic training is provided followed by practicum in prayer, with the intent of encouraging attendees to push forward in their relationships with Jesus. There are six sessions taught, spread over Friday evening and Saturday. The topics "build" on top of one another, so attendance from the start is encouraged.
This year's umbrella theme is "Ye Shall be Witnesses," and each session topic is designed to help us be - and do - better at fulfilling the Great Commission.
Many who have attended say these meetings are "life changing." All credit goes to Jesus Christ as we allow Him to freely move, speak, and do what He wills. Our goal is to be changed as He needs and desires.
PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited so if you are planning to attend, please mark "Going" on your event status (this will also assist in food preparation for the lunch we will enjoy together; find more details on this event page).
You are welcome to join us!
