Haustblót: Norse Autumn Blót & Community Potluck

Join us as we gather to honor the turning of the seasons with Haustblót, the Norse autumn sacrifice. This is a time to give thanks for the full harvest, to honor the gods, ancestors, and landvættir (spirits of the land), and to prepare ourselves for the coming dark months.

We will have a blót ceremony to offer our gratitude and blessings to the gods—particularly Freyr for the harvest, and the disir and ancestors for their watchful care. Following the ritual, we will share in a community potluck feast. Please bring a dish to share that reflects the bounty of the season (bread, root vegetables, meats, fruits, or anything inspired by autumn).
What to Bring:

-Your drinking horn or cup for sumbel (if you have one)
-Offerings for the gods/spirits (optional)
-Warm clothes—it may be chilly!

Whether you are a long-practicing heathen, new to the path, or simply interested in Norse tradition, you are welcome to stand with us in honor and fellowship.
