I am not a certified coach and do not give medical advice. These are designed to be social group training runs.
If you have an injury or are sick do not show up. Take care of yourself and listen to your body.
Each run will start out with a 15-20 min dynamic warmup, tips and tricks discussion about gear, hydration, and nutrition. Perhaps a random raffle or two π
Bring your own snacks and hydration with at least 1L of water per hour of running. 2L if youβre running 2+ hrs.
Each training run will vary in distance depending on your personal goals.
The best thing about these routes and course is that it an out and back and you can choose your own distance from 5K to 42K at your own pace.
We use the buddy system. Bring a friend or select someone to run with when you show up. This is for safety reasons and guarantees that everyone is accounted for before, during and after the run.
Do not run with headphones on this trail. There are multiple hikers and cyclists and sometimes they do not warn you when theyβre approaching so have to keep your ears and eyes open at all times. If you need to listen to music look into Aftershokz as a safer alternative.
