Learn to Sew & Hem!This class is a continuation of the Beginner Sewing level 1 and 2. In this next series, the instructor will guide you through the process of sewing a drawstring backpack. We will learn how to place our pattern on your fabric and cut it out with scissors or a rotary cutter. Then we will show tips on using a seam gauge to find the hem allowance. Next we will learn the proper way to press our fabric into place to get ready for hemming.All materials are included. It’s best to bring your own sewing machine, but you may also borrow one of ours. Pleasenote if bringing your own sewing machine it is very important to make sure it is fully functional.
