A Practical Training for School Personnel
This free training session equips school professionals, including K-12 educators, teaching assistants, aides, counselors, and social workers with tools to recognize and respond to grief in students. Through a combination of psychoeducation, insight and practical strategies, participants will learn how to create a supportive school environment for grieving students.
- Understand the unique ways children and teens process grief
- Learn how to implement a bereavement plan of care for students impacted by grief and loss
- Identify key strategies and interventions to utilize in a school setting after the death of a student or faculty member.
