What’s going on in February?
🛡️ Saturday, February 14 | Sanctuary: What Do You Want to Protect?
Explore the idea of sanctuary as a place of refuge and safety. Create a 2-D snow globe that holds a person, place, or thing you value. Draw meaningful details, layer color with crayons and markers, and spray with water to watch colors blend and move, just like memories preserved inside a snow globe!
🏡 Saturday, February 28 | Sanctuary: My Safe Space
What spaces make you feel calm, cozy, and happy? Draw an interior space where you feel safe, whether it’s a whole room or a favorite spot. Learn how to divide the page into floor and walls, add important details, and use bold paint sticks to layer and blend color throughout your sanctuary scene!
