Event Description:
Join us for the Mulligan Concept™ Upper Quadrant Course, a specialized two-day workshop focusing on spinal and peripheral manual therapy treatment techniques for the upper quarter. This course will provide a comprehensive overview of the Mulligan approach to manual therapy for the cervical and thoracic spine, as well as the upper extremity. Participants will experience a mix of lectures, patient demonstrations, and extensive lab sessions to gain a thorough understanding of the Mobilization With Movement™ approach.
Developed by Brian Mulligan, this effective manual therapy technique addresses musculoskeletal disorders by utilizing symptom-free techniques, pain neuroscience education, and therapeutic alliances to restore function and abolish pain.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs):
PTs and PTAs: 15 CEUs (for those licensed in Pennsylvania)
ATs: 13 CEUs (NATA Board of Certification CEU Provider P3566)
OT and COTA: 1.6 CEUs (AOTA approved)
For professionals outside of Pennsylvania, please consult your state board for CEU reciprocity. Necessary forms for CEU submission can be found on the North American Mulligan Concept™ Teachers Association (NAMCTA) website.
