Start the new year creatively with our February 4-Week Pottery Course at The Potter’s House Art Studio! Whether you’re brand new to clay or returning to build your skills, this class is designed to meet you where you are.
👥 Ages 14+
(Students under 14 must have a parent/guardian enrolled in the same class)
🗓 Class Dates: February 3 – March 1
After registering, you’ll receive a link within 24 hours to select one weekly class time that fits your schedule (first-come, first-served).
🕓 Weekly Class Options
✔ Tuesdays | 6:00–8:00 PM
✔ Wednesdays | 6:00–8:00 PM
✔ Sundays | 12:00–2:00 PM
(Sunday classes run Feb 8 – March 1)
Make-ups may be available depending on space and wheel availability.
🏺 What You’ll Learn
🌀 Week 1: Wheel basics, clay prep, centering & beginner throwing
🏺 Week 2: Bowls, cups, cylinders & refining form
✋ Week 3: Hand-building with slab, coil & pinch techniques
🎨 Week 4: Glazing, color design & surface decoration
🔥 Pickup Week: Early March
(Returning students receive advanced challenges each week!)
💰 Firing System (Pay-As-You-Go)
• $5 per finished piece
• Paid Week 3 (covers bisque + glaze firing)
• Only the pieces you choose to keep are fired

(Price increases to $125 after January 23rd, after February 1st price increases to $165)
