Sunshine State 200 Weekend Schedule Announced at Five Flags Speedway
PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Sunshine State 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch is set to deliver a marquee doubleheader weekend of racing on Friday and Saturday, March 13–14, at Five Flags Speedway, bringing together three of the top Super Late Model groups in the country.
The Sunshine State 200 will serve as the second event of the 2026 season for the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, following the season opener at New Smyrna Speedway. The weekend is a special combination event featuring the ASA STARS National Tour, the ASA Southern Super Series, and the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series.
Friday, March 13 – Five Flags Speedway Season Opener
Friday night marks the 2026 season opener at Five Flags Speedway, highlighted by extensive Super Late Model track time and a full slate of local division racing.
• Grandstands Open: 3:00 PM
• ASA STARS Practice: 3:30 PM
• Local Practice & Qualifying (Outlaws, Crown Stocks, Allison Legacy Cars): 4:45 PM
• ASA STARS Final “Happy Hour” Practice: 6:30 – 7:30 PM
• Racing Begins: 8:00 PM
Local divisions in action on Friday include the Outlaws, Crown Stocks, and Allison Legacy Cars, officially opening the 2026 racing season at the historic half-mile.
Saturday, March 14 – Sunshine State 200 Presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch
Saturday afternoon’s program is headlined by the Sunshine State 200, bringing some of the best Super Late Model drivers in the nation to one of short-track racing’s most iconic venues.
• Grandstands Open: 10:00 AM
• Super Late Model Qualifying: 11:00 AM
• Driver Autograph Session (Trackside): 11:45 AM
• Pre-Race Ceremonies: 12:25 PM
• Green Flag: 1:05 PM

The 2026 Sunshine State 200 marks the fourth visit for the ASA STARS National Tour to Five Flags Speedway. Casey Roderick captured the inaugural event in 2023, which also marked the first race in series history. Cole Butcher went on to win both the 2024 and 2025 editions of the Sunshine State 200 and ultimately claimed last season’s ASA STARS National Tour championship.
