Join us in our enchanting Shaker Herb Garden to celebrate the peak of summer with art, music, and the soothing scent of lavender and other herbs in full bloom.
This special event will include a drink ticket for an herbal cocktail or mocktail, and a delightful selection of herbal hors d’ oeuvres, all inspired by the fragrant herbs growing in the garden and prepared in the Shaker Museum Kitchen. Bring a picnic blanket and relax in the serenity of the Herb Garden or stroll between the garden beds to see the beautiful variation in blooms and the process of an Artist working in plein air.

Tim Kelly on the piano! Learn more about Tim:
From the very beginning, Tim has loved entertaining crowds whether i be a high energy show or serious jazz concert. He started at age 14 as a full time pro in Boston, then a Berklee College of Music Grad, after serving in Vietnam. Tim has performed for Presidents Clinton and Bush as well as shows at the top venues in the Boston-New York areas. Doing many performances on cruise ships and Las Vegas, also sharing the marquee with such stars as George Benson, Pattie Labelle, Jeffery Osborne, David Sanborn, Marcus Miller, Kool and the Gang, Arturo Sandoval, Kurt Elling, Rick Braun, Jonathon Butler and many more during his 40+ year career. A completely versatile performer of the highest order, Tim brings his dynamic personality, masterful vocals and musicianship as well as high energy and a natural comedic sense to every show!

Art Market
The artists working in the garden will also be selling completed pieces in a small market under a few tents in the garden. The artwork will be displayed as an informal gallery, so whether you are an interested buyer or an art enthusiast it will be an eventful afternoon.
