"The Kimbrough" at the Encino Velodrome (Concrete RC Oval Racing)

1/10th Scale R/C Oval Racing

This is our "annual" Kimbrough Memorial race, but it will be the 1st event since the passing of our friend and fellow Velodrome racer Jay Kimbrough. (It's been a tough year)

Gates will open by NOON on Friday Sept 26 for afternoon practice Noon to 5:30pm +/-.

Saturday Sept 27, the gates will open at 7:00 am, with practice and signups until about 10:30. Racing is planned for a 11:00 am Start time.

In an effort to help bring back outdoor concrete or paved oval racing, we're encouraging racers to run both the VELO on Sept. 27 and the Bakersfield R/C Raceway on Sept 13. (Watch for a bonus to be announced)
