Local Book Signing Event

Emmett Public Library is reflecting on 100 years of library services to Emmett & Gem County by hosting a series of historical events reflecting our rich history.

First in the series we will feature a local book signing for Moving Mountains which is a book that focuses on rural healthcare's past and future.

Move over TV medical dramas! Because Moving Mountains is the real-life story of Idaho’s first nurse practitioner, Marie Osborn.

When: September 20th 11:30-1pm
Where: Emmett Public Library Who: Marie Osborn ARNP, Idaho's first nurse practitioner and the first state-licensed nurse practitioner
Bryan Stone MD, Emmett physician, retired
