The Knauss Homestead
152 East Main Street, Emmaus, United States
Step back into the warmth and wonder of an 18th-century Christmas as the Knauss Homestead opens its doors for a special evening by candlelight. Wander through the beautifully restored 1777 home, glowing with soft holiday light, pine greenery, and the timeless charm of an old Moravian Christmas.
This year’s celebration is both an Open House & Member Appreciation Event, bringing our community together in the spirit of gratitude and giving. Guests will enjoy elegant charcuterie displays curated by Local Mama Catering, along with fine wine from Franklin Hill Vineyards, perfectly complementing the historic setting.
Throughout the Homestead, we will proudly display Knauss family heirloom photos and artifacts, offering an intimate look into the lives of those who once called this place home.
The evening will be enriched with live performances by
• Sarahjane Williams, Harpist
• Ted Williams, Classical Guitarist
Their music will fill the house with the gentle echoes of Christmases long ago.
Admission is FREE for members and $15 for non-members.
In the spirit of the season, $15 will be donated to the Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank for every person who attends, helping us extend the warmth of the Homestead far beyond its walls.
Join us for a candlelit evening of history, music, community, and Old Fashioned Christmas traditions in the very first place where Emmaus began.
Also check out other Music events in Emmaus, Food & Drink events in Emmaus.
