Lye Soap Making

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

If you have ever wondered how to make lye soap, then join us for this hands-on workshop at Echo Bluff State Park. You will get to experience all stages of lye soap making, from building the fire to pouring the finished product into the molds. You will even get a sample to take home. We will meet in the Shannondale Fire Tower Classroom at 9 a.m.

This event is expected to last about four hours, but the exact duration will depend on the weather and other factors. Please consider bringing lunch, snacks and drinks. Due to the intensity of this class, you must be 16 or older to participate. This workshop is free, but space is limited and registration is required.
