Dawn 'Til Dusk at Los Luceros

Los Luceros Historic Site in Alcalde, New Mexico, offers extended hours from sunrise to sunset on the first Sunday of the month, March 1, 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. During this time, entrance to the site is FREE for New Mexico residents with ID.

Enjoy bird watching to see the winter Sandhill Cranes, explore the historic buildings, walk the nature trails, and visit the farm animals. Regular admission for non-residents is $7/adult and free to children 16 and younger.

Spend more time at the site by participating in other activities happening on March 1:
10:30 a.m. - Join Ranger Kara for a walking tour of the historic district
1:00 p.m. - Touch replicas of artifacts and learn about what the NM Office of Archeological Studies does at the "Archaeology in New Mexico" presentation
