We are pleased to welcome back, John and Jamie Tilley of Tilley’s Custom Colts and Horsemanship to Pine Notch Stables in September 2025

For those who are not familiar with John and Jamie, they operate a successful training facility together in Leroy, Saskatchewan. For more information about them/their clinics feel free to check out their website at www.tilleyscustomcolts.ca

CLINIC COST

The cost for this clinic is $500 plus GST (total cost of $525 taxes included)

A $300.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Please review all details before registering. Those who do not place a deposit of $300 and make full payment 1 month before the clinic, will be charged a $50.00 late registry fee, for a clinic cost of $550 plus GST (total cost of $577.50)

The clinic fee covers riding in your class as well as auditing fee to watch the other class.

If you wish to ride in both classes you will and receive a $50 discount, for a total cost of $950 plus GST for both classes (total cost of $997.50)

Clinic space and stalls are limited so register early.

Spectators are welcome to audit the clinic for a fee of $50/day (cash payment).

Final payment is due 1 month prior to the first day of the clinic (due by Aug 12, 2025)


FACILITY DETAILS

The clinic will be hosted at Pine Notch Stables in Limoges, ON, owned by Ed and Eileen.

Self-serve freshly bedded stalls are available on a first come, first serve basis.
• Overnight stalls are available at a cost of $25/day.

Each stall will be bedded with one bag of shavings. You are welcome to bring your own bedding and hay, however they will also be available for purchase at the following costs:
• Shavings: $10 per bag
• Hay: $8 per bale

There is ample parking available for trailers near the barn for those who wish to trailer in and out daily, or who wish to park their trailers for the duration of the clinic.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Prior to the clinic, participants will need to provide the following information to Eileen (ZXdpc2thciB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t), with Cortney in cc (bGl0dGxlX2NvcnRuZXkgfCB5YWhvbyAhIGNh). All relevant forms will be e-mailed to participants prior to the clinic:
• Pine Notch Stables Stabling and Trailering Information sheet
• Proof of liability insurance (such as OEF)
• Proof of horse vaccinations
• Pine Notch Stables Waiver form

The Tilley’s Custom Colts and Horsemanship release of liability waiver will also have to be signed on the first day of clinic. Copies of this waiver will be provided when you arrive. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent sign the waiver on their behalf. Children 14 years and older are welcome to participate. Individuals under the age of 18 are asked to wear a helmet.


CLINIC SCHEDULE

Please arrive early on first day to ensure you have enough time to sign waivers, get your horse settled and get organized into your classes. Class 1 should be ready to start with their horses @ 5 pm on Friday. It is encouraged that all participants attend/observe both classes if possible.

The typical clinic schedule is as follows:

DAY 1 - Friday
• Class 1: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
• Class 2: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

DAY 2 – Saturday
• Class 1: 9:00 AM to Noon
• Break 1 hour for lunch
• Class 2: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

DAY 3 - Sunday
• Class 1: 9:00 AM to Noon
• Break 1 hour for lunch
• Class 2: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

There will be no meals on site. Please feel free to bring your own lunch and snacks.

While you are welcome to take pictures during the clinic, we kindly ask that NO VIDEO be taken during the clinic.

Participants should come prepared with the following equipment:
• rope halter with a minimum 10ft lead rope,
• horsemanship flag (not mandatory but highly encouraged)
• appropriate riding attire
• split reins or mecate, (no roping or barrel racing style reins as they are too short)
• snaffle bit (ring or D)

Participants are expected to ride the same horse all weekend/clinic, unless in the event of lameness or illness.

While “greener” horses are welcomed to participate, the rider must be able to confidently ride at a walk and trot in a group of horses.
