YOGA: Yang & Yin

The sympathetic nervous system gets a bad rap! It's only detrimental to us when we are in a constant state of stress or experience trauma. When regulated, the sympathetic nervous system provides energy and excitement.

This special ALL LEVELS practice explores the power of a vigorous activity, immediately followed by gentle stretching, breath work and deep relaxation. Perfect for training the nervous system to move between sympathetic (elevated nervous system) and parasympathetic functioning (relaxed nervous system).

Practice includes:
30 minutes of active postures
30 minutes of restorative postures
10 minutes of breath work
