YOGA: Moving Meditation

45 minutes of continuous flowing, with music sprinkled throughout and an emphasis on movement as meditation.

15 minutes of each class is devoted to practicing challenging poses (handstand prep, forearm balance, hand/arm balancing, advanced back-bends etc.). Each skill is taught through progressions. This means there is always an accessible version of every posture the instructor teaches. She starts with the simplest version of the pose, a version everyone can do, and gradually increases the difficulty.

WHO: folks with yoga experience who want less instruction and the opportunity to incorporate challenging poses through a variety of options and adaptations that don't slow down the flow.

Dress in layers! However, the studio is nice and cozy at 76 degrees in the winter!
