Beginner Saami Bracelets

Learn how to make your own beautiful Saami bracelet inspired by the techniques used by the Saami people. You will learn to triple braid with special coiled wire, attach the braid to reindeer leather, and finish the bracelet off with a small button that secures the bracelet. This class involves hand sewing with fine thread, and good eyesight is needed.

Each student will receive a bracelet kit as part of the material fee and a choice of leather color based on availability. If time permits, students can make a simple key fob for an additional materials cost of $5.00 paid to the instructor during class.
