Workshop with Heather Wood - Creating Imagery on Glass

🎨 Hands-on workshop: create imagery on glass using traditional and experimental enamel techniques.🎨 Discover the creative possibilities of painting and embellishing glass with vitreous enamels.

This workshop is open to both beginners and those with some glass-painting experience.You’ll learn how to mix enamels, apply them with different brushes and tools, and explore a variety of techniques such as textural mark-making, scraffito, tracing, matting, layering, and stencil work. Along the way, we’ll also cover firing schedules to help ensure successful results.

This full day course will be led by Heather Wood, an experienced Canadian glass artist and educator! Heather, who previously has her studio in Elora, now lives on the west coast and is coming by for a visit this October.
