Our first Family History Seminar for the 2025-2026 season will be presented on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
The presentation is entitled: "Reaping every detail from census records, part 1: 1790-1870".
Thiswill be the first of three seminars designed to help you become a better census records researcher. We will be taking a very close look at the various census schedules enumerated during that timeframe and the details you can learn about your ancestors from those valuable records.
The second seminar, in October, will cover the 1880-1950 censuses. In November we'll have a special "Putting it all together" WORKSHOP providing you with a hands-on experience in the application of census research.
Census record research is often referred to as the cornerstone for family history research. You won't want to miss this opportunity to really delve into the contents and creation of these valuable records .
