Montessori Beginnings is a one-hour discovery group for children under age two and their caregivers. Babies and young toddlers explore the Montessori environment designed specifically for them, while parents, grandparents, and nannies engage in discussions built around a variety of parenting topics within the scope of Montessori’s educational practices.
We will meet Thursdays, 2:45-3:45 in the CVMS toddler classroom. Each week we will spend time playing together, and create conversation on the following parenting topics.
September 18: Week #1, “Freedom Within Limits”
September 25: Week #2, “An Environment for Independence”
October 2: Week #3, “The Montessori Movement and Method”
October 9: Week #4, “Follow The Child”
October 16: Week #5, “Language Appreciation"
October 23: Week #6, “Peace Education: Grace and Courtesy”
October 30: Week #7, “Routines: Eating and Sleeping”
