Originally billed as a one-time “Game of the Century,” the first Major League Baseball All-Star game was held on July 6, 1933 as part of the Century of Progress World’s Fair, but it has now become a permanent and much-loved fixture of the baseball season. Join avid sports historian and baseball expert Bruce Allardice to hear the story of the first All-Star Game and learn more about its enduring impact on baseball.
