Back in 2018, hundreds of residents came together to imagine a stronger, more vibrant Ellsworth. That vision still guides our community today.
Now, we’re reigniting that spirit with the Design Ellsworth 2.0 Speaker Series—quarterly events that bring nationally recognized experts to Ellsworth to spark ideas, inspire action, and help shape our future together.
We’re kicking off the series with Ben Winchester, a nationally recognized rural sociologist with the University of Minnesota Extension. Known for challenging the “rural decline” narrative, Ben highlights surprising, positive trends that reveal a story of resilience, renewal, and opportunity for small towns like ours.
