Join us as we venture into the macabre world that was Victorian death culture. From skulls and angels in cemeteries, to seances and ouija boards in parlors, Victorians not only obsessed over death—they capitalized on it!
We’ll investigate a number of English, American, and specifically Maryland customs to answer your most grave questions. How does one become a ghost? Why are vampires so obsessed with hygiene? Can one really contact the dead? And what is up with all that hair? And much more!
