Winter Explosion 2026

Fun snow-filled day in Elkwater. Winter activities include snow shoeing, cross-country skiing (additional cost), tobogganing, ice fishing, and skating. If there is no snow, we’ll have a Scavenger Hunt in the woods and other games in a warm and cozy environment with lots of hot chocolate and more! Snacks will be provided. You don’t want to miss this day trip!

We’ll meet at Medicine Hat College entrance to provide rides for those needing one. If you are driving out to Elkwater in your vehicle, we recommend you come to the college at 10am if this is the first time you are going out there. If you know your way out there, meet us at the Whispering Pines Camp at 11am.
