When twilight falls on the quiet town of Elkton, Kentucky, something eerie stirs within historic the old Green River Academy. Guests will step into a world where shadows of the past linger — where voices of long-ago students, professors, and townsfolk echo through candlelit hallways.
Shadows of Green River Academy is a haunting, historically-inspired theatrical experience that brings to life the real people who once walked this historic site — and the frightening echoes of their demise.
Guests will be led by the Undertaker to explore the Academy’s ancient halls, transformed into a living stage, where true tales of duels, war-torn heartbreak, epidemics, and loss build the narrative of one of Kentucky’s most storied landmarks.
Begin your journey at the Milliken Memorial Community House where Historian William Turner will be telling ghost stories of the Bell Witch! Guests will enjoy a candy cauldron station, autumn apple cider station, and s'mores campfire! Our hayrides will ferry guests to the Academy every 15 minutes.
