"Little Hands" hanging heart rattle class

Bring your little one and create a heart rattle hanging ornament. We will use slabs of clay where we will cut out 2 heart shapes, then press them into foam to create a 3D heart. Then we will place a few small clay balls inside and join the two hearts to form a rattle. Afterwards, students may carve designs into their heart or paint with underglaze.

Once the hearts are fully dry, they will undergo a bisque firing. Afterwards the hearts are cleaned and glazed, and fired one final time. Work may be picked up in 4-6 weeks. For visitors to Elkin, I do offer shipping for an additional fee. This class is open to one parent/guardian and one child. Children of any age are welcome provided they can sit at the table and work safely. Please wear comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes, and hair must be pulled back. All materials will be provided.
