Sept 12 - 14. I've reserved a waterfront home on Lake Sacheen for a relaxing weekend of paddling and fun. The house has 5 bedrooms, 9 beds, and 2 bathrooms. Fish, paddle, or swim from the private dock, accessed by stairs to the water. Reached via outdoor stairs, the home offers a spacious deck with stunning lake views, plus stairs from the deck to the lake’s edge.
We'll share the cost of the Airbnb, $750 divided by how many people sign up. Example: If 5 people stay at the house, the cost is $150 per person for the weekend.
You are welcome to paddle with us on Saturday afternoon without staying at the Airbnb.
Itinerary
9/12 Meet at the Airbnb anytime after 3 pm.
9/13 at 1 pm. Meet at the Sacheen Lake public boat launch. We'll leisurely paddle, stopping for breaks, ending around 5 pm.

All paddler skills are welcome. We are happy to help newer boaters.
YOU MUST STAY WITH THE GROUP AND WEAR A PFD & WHISTLE WHILE PADDLING. (We will provide you with a whistle if you need one.)

Paddler Responsibility: Each paddler is responsible for choosing outings they can handle comfortably and assumes full responsibility for their participation.
GENERAL INFO: Please read through this full message at least once a season.
Dress for water temperature and weather. Bring a change of clothes & towel (in case you get wet).
Good Items to Bring: Dry bags, spray skirt, emergency contact info, water shoes, sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses with retainer, drinks and snacks.
Cancellation/updates: Wind, smoke, high temperatures or other conditions could result in event cancellation. If so, the Host will update on Meetup. Please check before coming.
NOTE: If it is windy, inflatable or "bathtub" boats (i.e., the ones that have no way to steer!) are not recommended. If you are wondering about the wind, check it out on the Windy App
