If you are a Registered Yoga Teacher who needs to refresh their anatomy knowledge; OR a dedicated student who wants to learn more about anatomy - join the students of the RYS 200 Foundational Yoga Teacher training for their Anatomy Intensive weekends. This is an excellent opportunity to learn or review your anatomy and build community with upcoming yoga teachers.
This weekend will feature a review of the basics of anatomy and a deep dive into the anatomy of the Lower Extremities.
During this weekend, we will go over the basics of Anatomy to include the systems of the body, anatomical planes, joint classification and range of motion.
Our deep dive into the Lower Extremities will cover detailed anatomy of the skeletal, muscular and connective tissues of the hips. pelvis and legs.
The weekend will conclude with practicing and applying your knowledge to yoga poses to deepen your understanding of the purpose of the pose; what limits people in a pose and ways to adjust / accommodate for anatomical differences.

We will meet on the following days/times:
Friday 6-9pm
Saturday / Sunday 9-6pm
