Memoriam Development is now casting for our 7th annual installment of our Horror Anthology Play, ‘Nightshade’. This year’s theme is ‘Vernal’. The show consists of 10, 10 minute original horror themed plays. Actors will each be portraying multiple roles. Shows and rehearsals will be held at Side Street Studio Arts in downtown Elgin.
Auditions will be held on February 7th from 1pm-4pm and February 9th from 7pm-9pm at Side Street Studio Art (15 1/2 Ziegler Ct. Elgin Il).
Rehearsals will be held on Mondays from 7pm-9pm and Saturdays from 2pm-4pm starting February 28th.
Shows are April 17th at 8pm, 18th at 8pm, 19th at 2pm, 24th at 8pm, and 25th at 8pm.
We ask that you prepare a 1 minute monologue of your choosing. You may also be asked to read sides. Headshot and resume are preferred but not required.
Audition slots can be reserved at tinyurl.com/nightshade-auditon. Though we will do our best to take walk ins, it is recommended to sign up for a slot ahead of time.
We welcome all ethnicities, gender identities, races and ages 18 and over to audition.
Base pay for this show is $50 with the possibility of additional contingent upon ticket sales.
