Lanterns of Remembrance for Kids | Ages 5-10 | FREE | Pre-Registration Encouraged
Wednesday, October 22nd | 4PM - 6PM | Elgin Recreation Center

Light up the season with a burst of color and creativity! Kids ages 5–10 are invited to a super fun Día de los Muertos lantern workshop where plain mason jars get a dazzling makeover with bright, colorful tissue paper on Wednesday, October 22nd from 4PM – 6PM at the Elgin Recreation Center. Little hands will transform simple jars into glowing masterpieces full of festive flair and cheerful designs that celebrate this beautiful tradition. It’s a hands-on, exciting craft that’s perfect for sparking imagination, learning about culture, and having a blast! All supplies are included, so come ready to make something amazing and take home your very own glowing work of art!
