$5 Per Team - All Ages

Dreaming of cardboard boat glory but dreading the mess at home? We've got you covered! Join us in the Elgin Recreation Center Studio Room on Friday, August 8th, from 12 PM to 5 PM for a dedicated boat-building session for our annual cardboard boat race happening Saturday, August 9th at 10AM. For just $5 per team, you'll get the space and supplies to bring your vision to life, AND entry into the race the next day! We'll provide essential supplies like cardboard, duct tape, and markers to get you started, but if you have a special duct tape or marker bring it along!

The only catch is you'll be responsible for transporting your magnificent creation from the Elgin Recreation Center to Morris Memorial Pool on race day. Gather your crew (2 to 5 members strong) and let's make some waves!
